A viral video showing thousands of Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVC) being dumped in the state of Anambra triggered a response from Nollywood actress and singer Angela Okorie.
A hunter supposedly discovered numerous PVCs while on a hunting trip deep within the forest just days before the general election of 2023.
Many in the community expressed concern over this, and after conducting an investigation, they learned that the PVCs belonged to recently registered and active voters.
The cards are being sorted and delivered to the appropriate voting places so that their owners can pick them up prior to the election.
In response to the occurrence, Angela Okorie lamented bitterly the evil of the people who disposed of the PVCs rather than giving them to their owners.
She posted the video to her Instagram page with the caption;
“You see this our country Nigeria Eee I don tire
How can this be happening to us, who is doing this
How can some1 be this wicked just few days to
Election some people can’t get hold of their Pvc
