He continued by saying that Jide Sanwo Olu lacked the credibility to run for a second term because of his silence on the shootings.
He wrote;

“Sanwo-Olu has been doing the most lately, campaigning non-stop; But until he reveals who ordered the Lekki Toll Gate shooting, he has no credibility whatsoever. It’s not by making apologies & making promises, Lagosians deserve accountability. A dishonest leader can’t be trusted.”

He referred to his actions as dishonest and claimed that the people of Lagos could no longer rely on him to govern them.
He acknowledged that the governor had expressed regret, but said it was insufficient to make up for the lives lost.
