Femi Adebayo Surprises 12-Year-Old with Ram for Winning Quran Recitation Contest

Renowned Nigerian actor and filmmaker, Femi Adebayo, captured the hearts of many by gifting a ram to a 12-year-old boy who won his annual Sallah giveaway competition.

The celebrated “Seven Doors” star has made it a tradition to host a Quran recitation contest for children aged 5 to 12 in celebration of the Eid al-Adha festival. On Thursday, June 5, 2025, he revealed the winners of this year’s edition.

Taking to social media, Adebayo congratulated the young champion, @Sheik_alameen_muhammad, who received a ram as the top prize. In addition, he announced cash rewards for the second and third-place winners, @hajakaffy and @abiolanurdeen, respectively.

“Congratulations to the winners of the #FemiAdebayoIleyaGiveaway2025!” he wrote. “After reviewing all the beautiful entries, I’m thrilled to announce the winners. Kindly send your delivery address or bank details via DM to claim your prizes.”

He also extended his appreciation to all participants and shared warm wishes for the festive season:

The generous gesture comes at a time when many Nigerians are expressing concern over the rising cost of rams and other essentials during the Sallah celebration.
