Nigerian DJ and music personality Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, has expressed mixed emotions as she prepares to perform in Nigeria for the first time in five years.

Taking to social media, the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola revealed that she’s feeling a bit out of practice ahead of her upcoming show in Abuja this weekend.

Cuppy admitted to feeling “rusty” due to the long break from performing on Nigerian soil, jokingly adding that she hopes muscle memory kicks in when she hits the decks.

“Haven’t performed in Nigeria for 5 whole years. I’m rusty. Let’s pray muscle memory is real” she wrote.

Fans have since taken to the comment section to encourage her and share their excitement about her return to the local music scene.
