The management of Dangote Group has responded to Phyna’s claim about its truck hitting her younger sister, Ruth Otabor.

According to Phyna, the accident occurred when a Dangote truck knocked down her sister in Auchi, Edo State, resulting in the amputation of one leg, with the other leg potentially at risk.

In a statement released by the management of Dangote Group, the company revealed that senior officials, accompanied by the insurance team, visited the victim and her sister at the hospital.

“Following the recent accident in Auchi in Auchi, Edo state which sadly resulted in injury of Mrs Ruth Otabor, senior officials from Dangote cement PLC together with our insurance team promptly visited the scene engaged with law enforcement agencies “, The statement stated.

Furthermore, Dangote Cement reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the well-being of the affected individuals, assuring full support for Phyna’s sister’s medical care and providing appropriate compensation in line with the company’s welfare policy.
