Beauty queen Chidinma Adetshina dumps pageantry as she opens up on her traumatic journey to Miss Universe.
It would be recalled that Chidimma had emerged as the first runner-up at the 2024 Miss Universe.
This came after she was dragged and shamed by the South Africans who had claimed that she is not originally from their country.
During a recent interview on Silverbird TV, she noted that she is done with Pageantry because of the trauma she had experienced.
Additionally, she noted that she would be moving back to Nigeria from South African.
Chidimma Adetshina said …
“Finishing in the top 2 [at the Miss Universe competition] is still a shocker for me… Honestly, I am done. Pageantry was a real traumatic experience for me
“People still don’t understand how I felt. There were times when I almost quit during the Miss Universe contest. I’m really done with pageantry. I want to focus on myself and establish who I am. And forward my education as well.”
It is worth noting that Adetshina’s remarkable pageant run included finishing 1st runner-up at Miss Universe and being named Miss Universe Africa and Oceania.
Her path to success began with winning Miss Nigeria, a decision made after withdrawing from Miss South Africa amidst nationality controversy.
