A Nigerian man has set the internet buzz after he made a request of a public official in the current administration.
He asked President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Assistant on Digital and New Media if Nigerians can pay them off to leave office.

The man identified on Twitter as @MaliqNero said if it is possible for Ahmad and his colleagues to get their allowances, salaries, that would they be open to leaving office on Friday, April 1st, 2022.

His post was in reaction to the presidential aide’s tweet where he said that he understands if people do not like him for his job, but that Nigerians should not allow their dislike for him to affect the love for their country.

Ahmad wrote; ”To dislike me or the government I work for is a freedom of choice, which I understand and respect, but please don’t let the dislike affects the love your have for this country. 8 years ago we weren’t here, and a year + months we won’t be around, but Nigeria stays with us forever.”
