Adanma Luke, a Nigerian actress, responded to Shan George, a senior colleague, who refuted accusations that Hanks Anuku, an actor, was having mental health issues and going through a difficult period.
This is in response of rumors that circulated Monday night following the internet sharing of a “disturbing” video showing Anuku roaming the streets.
But Shan George assured her that he was alright and shared footage and pictures of themselves together on a film set in Asaba three days prior.
She pleaded with everyone to ignore rumors that Hanks was ill.
She wrote: “Nothing dey do Hanks o, we dey same set. This pix is 3days ago in Asaba. Hanks is fine o, we are on the same set”.
In response to her post, Adanma said Shan was attempting to conceal the actor’s problems and need for assistance. She claimed that although the facts had previously been kept a secret by the movie industry, it is now time for him to be given support.
Adanma wrote; ”Pls you all Nollywood peeps should stop with the lies when you know the truth. He isn’t okay so let him get help now that the world knows.
Stop with the cover up if he was your blood you would have helped but now that the world is about to find out the truth you all try to hide it. Hank isn’t okay so let’s allow him get help now before it’s too late.”
