Veteran Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has made a strong statement on insecurity and bad governance in Nigeria, expressing his readiness to speak more openly about national issues.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the afrobeat star stated that he is no longer afraid of criticism or online attacks, adding that he is prepared for any backlash that may come with speaking out.

“The way I’m about to start speaking out on insecurity and bad governance in Nigeria, all these N3k sponsored attackers better get ready,” he tweeted.

He further emphasized that attempts to silence or discourage him would not work, insisting that he has reached a point where he is willing to express his views without fear of consequences.

“If una wan cancel me, make una line up well. Cos me too I don fall out,” he added.
