Nigerian music executive Asa Asika, who manages Afrobeat star Davido, has officially tied the knot with his partner, Leona Adesanya, in a white wedding ceremony held in the United Kingdom.

Asika had earlier proposed to Leona who is the daughter of a billionaire in September 2024. The couple celebrated their traditional wedding in Lagos on Saturday, May 17, 2025. The Lagos event was lavish and drew widespread attention on Nigerian social media, trending for days.
In contrast to the grand traditional celebration, Asa and Leona chose a more intimate and modest approach for their white wedding. The ceremony took place in a church with only a small group of family and close friends present. Asa donned a classic black suit, while Leona looked elegant in a simple white gown complemented by a white kimono.

Davido’s hypeman, Special Spesh, posted a snapshot from the ceremony on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of the joyful occasion. A heartwarming video also surfaced online, showing the newlyweds exiting the church as their friends tossed flower petals in celebration while the couple descended the stairs beaming with joy.
