Biola Bayo Shuts Down Domestic Violence Rumors

Nollywood actress and media personality, Biola Bayo, has debunked rumors suggesting her marriage ended due to domestic violence.

Last week, Biola publicly confirmed that she and her husband had separated since April of the previous year and have since committed to peacefully co-parenting their son. While addressing the news, she apologized to fans who may have been disappointed by the development, expressing her deep desire for the marriage to have worked out.

She emotionally reflected on how she continues to make others laugh while silently crying herself to sleep nearly every night for the past 14 months.

However, following rising speculation online about the cause of her separation, particularly accusations of abuse, Biola took to Instagram to clear the air. Updating her earlier divorce announcement, she firmly stated that there was no history of physical violence between her and her ex-husband, Seyi.

“My Ex husband, Seyi has never laid a finger on me and I never did as well. We never ever had any physical abuse or v!olent issue from either of us. she wrote.

She further urged the public to be kind, stressing that people often deal with pain and struggles privately.
