A Nigerian man has been left heartbroken as his girlfriend breaks up with him four days after they celebrated their anniversary.

On September 1st, the man identified on X as @frankiemindset tweeted on the microblogging platform to celebrate their relationship anniversary.

He had no idea that his partner was getting ready to leave him.

On September 5th, the girlfriend sent him a message explaining that she couldn’t keep the relationship going since she had lost herself in it and needed some time to heal.

She continued by expressing her desire for him to move on and quit wasting his time and effort on her.

However, the man who circulated the screenshot of the message suspected that she had cheated on him.

Sharing the post, he wrote;

“We thank God for life. 🙏🏻 Back to the street ❤️ ooh! And also please never forgive a cheating partner, you may get punished ❤️”
