A Nigerian man has requested for a refund of the tithes he has paid over the years because he is no longer interested in the heavenly race.
The man, a member of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, stated in an online video that for many years, his pastor persuaded him to make investments in God’s kingdom by quoting Matthew chapter 6 VS 19.

The verse reads: “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

“But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.
“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

The young man claimed his pastor had brainwashed him and that he had substantially invested in the church, but he is now awakened.

In the face of the country’s current difficulty, he claimed that the Nigerian government and banks had let him down, and he demanded the return of his church tithe.

The man, who claimed to have joined the church in 2013, then showed his tithe booklet as evidence of the tithe he had been paying for years. Because there is no proof, he declared that he will forsake his offering and other donations.
