The Lagos state police command has released 6 of Davido’s domestic staff and detained two for further questioning on the matter of the death of his son Ifeanyi.

Recall the 3 year old drowned in his father’s Banana Island residence on Monday, October 31.

The Lagos state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, had disclosed that eight of the domestic staff were invited for questioning on Tuesday November 1.

According to the spokesman, only the chef and the nanny have been detained after rigorous questioning, implying that some fault had been found.

A source close to the family had said that the chef and the nanny had misplaced the child with each thinking the other was with him. They’d however begun to panic when they couldn’t find him for 20 minutes. He was eventually found by a security guard who saw him in the pool.
