In his words shared on X (formerly Twitter), he said:
“I used ₦7 million to install my solar and later got a battery of an extra ₦3 million from my guy. Then when one of my friends said he needed solar, I referred him to this guy, and he gave that guy a quotation of ₦5 million for something he charged me ₦7 million for.”

The man said he was disappointed by the price difference, particularly because of the close relationship he believed they shared.
He revealed that when he confronted his friend, the installer attributed the lower quotation to confusion surrounding the birth of his child.

He also questioned how the circumstances could have resulted in a ₦2 million difference, saying the experience changed his perception of his friend.
