Woman pours hot cooking oil onto her husband (video).

Police in Lusaka (Zambia) are searching for a 32-year old woman who allegedly poured hot oil on her husband.

Elizabeth Mweete, 39, was the suspect. She attacked her husband Alex Muleya on Tuesday, December 28.

Rae Hamoonga (police spokesperson), stated that the victim suffered severe burns to the back, left side of his eye, and face. He is currently being treated at Chawama Level One Hospital.

“Police in Lusaka have launched a manhunt for Elizabeth Mweete aged 32 after she assaulted her husband Alex Muleya aged 39 of House number 116 Kuku Compound by pouring hot cooking oil on him.The incident occured on 28th December, 2021 around 22:30 hours at the couple’s house,” he said.

Mr Hamoonga appealed that anyone with information about the suspect’s location contact the nearest police station.

A video of the victim’s wife pouring hot cooking oil on him over another man has been released.

Mukeya says he received a telephone call from an unknown individual informing him that Elizabeth Mweete had died.

“One guy called and said, “hey guy, did you know that the guy who was going to out with your wife is no longer?” I said, “What?” Muleya said, “I said what?”
