Why Your Favs Can’t Be Greater Than My Dad, Fela — Singer, Seun Kuti Shades Wizkid
Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti has thrown shades at his contemporaries as he claims that the stars of the new school cannot be greater than his late father, Fela Kuti.
In a recent post on his Instagram story, Seun Kuti bragged that until Fela comes back from the dead and steals some of your faves music or uses their lyrics the way they steal his lyrics and music, their comparison is null and void.
His commentary has garnered mixed reactions from Instagram users as they allude that no one is trying to compete or drag his father because they know who he was and scolded him to stop talking as he is talking too much.

Fela is highly overrated to me, when it comes to songs, people like Orlando Owoh, Ebenezer, Victor, sunny Ade released better songs than FELA but Fela is that “politician son” who went against the system that built his family
Seun Rest!! Our Favs are still attaining heights, they are selling out arenas. You should be worried about your own music😩😩
Now you’re talking too much bro. Your father wasn’t talkative, he was smart and spoke when necessary. You think he cared about being the greatest? His concern was to put the music out there, educate Nigerians and criticise the mad ones.
Yes we know your dad is great buh please shut already argh 😒😒😒 people stealing his lyrics and music …i think that’s what makes him great …who wanna steal someone who isn’t great lyrics …So please shut up or go and wake him haa omoo
They all stole Fela’s lyrics, concept and style from Burnaboy,Wizkid etc so he’s right👌🏾 you can’t be greater than the person you obviously stole inspiration from
