Popular Nigerian singer-songwriter Chidinmma Ekile has explained why she decided to stop performing secular music.

 

On Wednesday, April 3, Chidinmma said that she had left the secular music industry in 2021 to go back to her gospel roots.

The “Kedike” singer claimed that despite her triumph following her victory in Project Fame in 2010, she felt empty.

 

She reunited with her source (God) as a result of the emptiness.

She said;

“I was looking for my fulfillment, but I didn’t find it until I reconnected with my source,”
