Popular Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, stated that she had no intention of marrying Adekunle Gold.
In the most recent episode of Tea with Tay, which was shared by media personality Taymesan, the “Joromi” hitmaker revealed this and talked about why she had never intended to wed a musician.

Simi claimed that when the two of them first met, she was unaware that Adekunle was a musician.

“When I first met my husband, I didn’t know he was singing because me I already said I cannot marry a singer. I didn’t know he was singing, I think he was even a fan.”

She added that even though she did not initially know Adekunle Gold was a musician when they met, they started dating because he was a really nice guy.
