Bola Ahmed Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress party (APC) and also a presidential aspirant in the forthcoming general elections, has promised to pay the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) fees for eligible students in Nigeria when he becomes the country’s president.

According to the presidential aspirant, his aim is to make sure no one is left behind in education.

Making the promise in a viral video on Instagram, Tinubu added that the symbol on his cap represents ‘breaking the shackles of poverty’; thus he was going to do just that as president, and also break the shackles of ignorance, banditry among others in the country.
