Reacting to the development, VeryDarkMan claimed the incident was linked to Nwosu’s voter education campaign, which reportedly focused on encouraging citizens not to sell their votes and educating communities about voter registration and civic participation.

He further alleged that the action was intended to discourage political awareness among young people and distract ongoing voter mobilisation efforts.

“Livinus Nwosu has been picked up by armed gunmen putting on black. His wife just reached out to me this evening. This is a move by president Tinubu government to silence the youths and to stop the sensitisation that is currently going on. They have seen that the youths are very active and the youths really want to get their PVC and they’re ready to vote. They’re doing all of this in order to scare the people and to distract the people.

Livinus Nwosu was picked up in Bayelsa state. God so kind it happened in public, they’ll go and meet the Bayelsa state police and we’ll send a lawyer there.

Whether you people like it or not we will create this awareness. Gone are the days when you’ll just go give people 5K Naira and bag of rice for them to vote for you, no.

President Tinubu you have failed. You have failed to protect the lives of the citizens of Nigeria. You don’t deserve a second chance…”
