US President Donald Trump has publicly acknowledged Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, praising her as a ‘very respected woman’ during the National Prayer Breakfast held in Washington, DC.

The annual event, which draws lawmakers, religious leaders, and international guests, saw Trump highlight Mrs. Tinubu’s presence as he spoke on matters of faith and global religious freedom.

“We’re honoured to be joined today by the First Lady of Nigeria, who also happens to serve as a Christian pastor at the largest church in Nigeria… a very respected woman,” Trump said while acknowledging the audience.

Senator Remi Tinubu is an ordained pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), one of Nigeria’s largest Pentecostal denominations, founded by Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
