Nigerian music executive Ubi Franklin has dismissed viral rumours claiming he was involved in a physical altercation with nightlife entrepreneur and socialite, Cubana Chief Priest.

Earlier reports circulating online alleged that the duo engaged in a heated confrontation that escalated into a fistfight at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
According to an eyewitness account quoted by several blogs, the altercation attracted a large crowd and involved what were described as “heavy blows not meant for the faint-hearted.”

However, Ubi Franklin has now responded to the claims via a blunt post on his Instagram Story, which he has since deleted. In the post, he blasted the credibility of the story and those who believed it.

“Anyone who believes this story, especially the narrative on Instablog written by a blogger in an attempt for relevance, is a f**l lol,” Franklin wrote.
