A series of photos snapped by two men have surfaced on social media and set tongues wagging due to the nature of its content.

The two guys did a birthday photoshoot and it left netizens in a state of confusion because it was hard to tell if they are a couple or not.

In the photos posted online, one of them stood while the other knelt down and kissed his protruding tummy as though he were pregnant.

Also, they both wore birthday sash across their shoulders so it was also difficult to tell who is celebrating birthday.

Some social media users even wondered if it was a birthday or maternity photoshoot.
