Tunde Ednut, a Nigerian entertainer, appears to have responded to online rumors that his friend and artist Davido and wife Chioma have given birth.

Only a few months after the couple’s first child, Ifeanyi Adeleke, died, reports surfaced over the weekend indicating that Chioma had given birth to a newborn baby. The rumors haven’t been confirmed or denied by Davido or Chioma, though.

Tunde Ednut responded to the claims on his Instagram page, pleading the internet users to refrain from spreading any rumors until the couple has officially announced the news.

He didn’t specifically mention Davido or Chioma by name in his post, but it was clear that he was making reference to them.

Sharing the post, he wrote;

“Atleast make una dey wait for person wey get pikin annouce say him don get born by himself or herself nau? ITK… I TOO KNOW.

The owner of thick Akamu and the owner of egg never talk say everything don cook, what makes you think you are giving the right news out? Na wva Oo!”
