“Thre@tening and intimidating voters is unlawful” – Mr Macaroni reacts to MC Oluomo’s thre@t to Igbo voters in Lagos

Nigerian comedian and activist, Mr. Macaroni, has responded to the threats issued by Lagos State Parks Management Committee Chairman, MC Oluomo, to Igbos ahead of Saturday’s governorship and house of assembly elections.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) supporter Mc Olumo advised Igbos preparing to vote for other parties except the APC on Saturday to stay at home during a recent meeting with a group of people.

Mc Olumo said;

“Iya Chukwudi, if you know you no wan vote for us, siddon for your house o.”

Mr. Macaroni responded to this via his Twitter account, saying that harassing and threatening voters is unlawful and should be denounced by everyone.

He also posted a video in which the Lagos State Commissioner of Police requested accountability from the people of the state for the protection and safety of voters.
