In a candid statement shared online, the Mavin Records boss recalled being labelled “ugly” during his school days, a situation he said impacted his self-esteem and social interactions.

“Girls used to call me ugly in university and no one wanted to be my girlfriend 😭💔 It affected my confidence, and that’s why I’m shy and struggle to speak in public till today…it’s also why I find it hard to believe when a woman tells me she truly loves me 🥹,” he said.

According to him, the emotional effects of those experiences have lingered over the years, influencing his personality and making it difficult for him to fully accept expressions of love.
