“The high point of my career” – Actor, Yul Edochie excited as he gets endorsement from his father, Pete after 18 years (Video)

Yul Edochie, a Nollywood actor, is currently experiencing his career’s apex in the movie industry and is ecstatic.

The thespian and movie director yul edochie said that the pinnacle of his career was receiving praise for his work from his father, legendary actor Pete Edochie, and his second wife, Judy Austin, while they were on the set of his upcoming movie this afternoon.

Yul claimed that in 2005, he had directed his first movie, which although his father thought was remarkable, wasn’t his best.

He claimed to have accepted his father’s criticism in good faith and to have taken it upon himself to succeed in the Nigerian movie industry.

After 18 years, Yul directed his father in another movie, and this time, his artistic ability and leadership skill completely surprised him.

Taking to his Instagram page to share the news, Yul wrote,

“The high point of my career. Getting a endorsement from the man who gave birth to me. The Legend and biggest name in Nollywood Chief Pete Edochie. In 2005, fresh out of Theatre Arts Department, University of Port Harcourt. I directed my first movie which starred Chief Pete Edochie. After the money my father said I tried though but it would be best of I go fully into acting. learn more as an actor before coming back to directing.

“I agreed. As a man who loves challenges, I took it upon myself to make a mark in Nollywood as an actor. So I went into acting fully and established myself as one of the greatest actors in Africa. 2023, I directed my father again in the movie THE GODFATHER and I blew him away with my artistic prowess and leadership skills. He finally gave me my accolades. I earned it”.
