Popular media personality Daniel Regha has triggered mixed reactions online after sharing his opinion about Christians who pour drinks on the floor for their ancestors before drinking.

In a post that has since gone viral on social media, Regha described the practice as paganism, insisting that Christians should not mix their faith with ancestral rituals.

“You can’t claim to be a Christian and then offer drinks to the ancestors before you take a sip; That idea of pouring drinks on the floor before you do anything else is paganism.”
His statement immediately sparked heated debates online, with some Nigerians agreeing with his view while others defended traditional practices and cultural beliefs.
