Recall that Davido and Mayorkun collaborated on the remix version of Funke in 2018 with Spyro. The song became one of the household songs and also popular online.
While speaking in an interview on HipTv, the “Who’s your guy” hit maker revealed how his song with Davido and Mayorkun moved from being a popular song to a non recognized song.

“I had a song back then, and I had Davido and Mayorkun on it. I thought my life was about to change. The song came out and it was big, and all of a sudden I went back down,”
“I sat down and thought about it because how do you go from working with Davido, vibing with Mayorkun and all those guys, and all of a sudden, they do not even pick your calls anymore.
“There are times where I would just sit down on my staircase back then and I would cry. I had my parents at home that I need to take care of, a lot of things were just going wrong.”
