Afropop singer Chike-Ezekpeazu Osebuka, popularly known as Chike has come under online scrutiny following recent social media rumours linking him to a personal controversy involving TV host Frank Edoho.

Over the weekend, several blogs alleged that the singer was responsible for the separation between Frank Edoho and his second wife. The claims quickly went viral, sparking widespread reactions across social media platforms.

Amid the growing attention, Frank Edoho addressed the situation publicly, revealing that he has been separated for about two years. In his Instagram post, he wrote:

“Over the past few days, I’ve received an outpouring of kind messages, prayers, concern, and goodwill regarding my separation and ongoing divorcе proceedings.

“I truly appreciate the empathy. While I understand that the public is only just becoming aware of this chapter, I have lived through it privately for quite some time now (almost 2 years) and have since made peace with it emotionally,”

He further explained that life comes in different seasons and that sometimes handling personal matters privately is the most dignified approach.

“I am well. Focused. At peace, and deeply grateful for the love, respect, and support so many of you continue to show me. Thank you kindly,”

Following his revelation, online conversations intensified, with many users turning their attention to Chike’s social media pages for reactions. In response to the backlash and speculation, the singer restricted comments on his Instagram account.

However, discussions continued on X, where some users still directed criticism at the singer over the viral allegations.
