The lady, identified as @DeNiike_ on X (formerly Twitter), referenced the company’s past involvement in entertainment sponsorship while responding to recent comments about Nigeria’s tech talent pool.

She pointed out that the fintech company was a headline sponsor of Big Brother Naija in 2023.

“The same Moniepoint was the headline sponsor for BBNaija in 2023,” she wrote.

She further questioned the company’s contribution to education and skills development, especially within the tech industry.

“Ask Tosin how many tech schools and STEM scholarships he sponsors, also check the figures in terms of monetary contributions,” she added, referring to Moniepoint’s Chief Executive Officer, Tosin Eniolorunda.
