Nigerians have lost many of their celebrities who have contributed to the growth of the entertainment industry in the country. So in this article, I will be sharing with you some 6 Nigerian celebrities who are no longer alive. So pay attention to them as listed below.

1) Sam Loco.

One of the Nigerian celebrities who are no longer alive is the Nollywood Actor identified as Sam Loco. When Sam Loco was alive, he entertained his fans by acting in more than two hundred movies including “Atinga”, “Osuofia in London”, “My Love”, “Tom and Jerry” etc.

2) Babatunde Omidina (Baba Suwe).

Another Nigerian celebrity who is no longer alive is Actor Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe. Baba Suwe also did his own path in the entertainment industry by entertaining people in different Nollywood movies. He started entertaining his fans when he joined the Nigerian movie industry in 1971. He featured in many Nollywood movies like “Iru Esin”, “Omolasan”, “Obelomo”, “Elebolo”, “Baba Londoner” etc.

3) Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun (Dagrin).

The popular Nigerian singer and rapper identified as Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun popularly known as Dagrin is also among the Nigerian celebrities who are no longer alive. The “Kodo” singer, Dagrin, died on April 22, 2010, at the age of 23.

4) Folake Aremu (Orisabunmi).

The Nollywood actress identified as Folake Aremu popularly known as Orisibunmi also contributed to the development of the entertainment industry during her lifetime. She entertained her fans by featuring in different Nollywood movies such as “Agbaami”, “Yanponyanrin”, “Ayanmo Eda”, etc. But died on January 5, 2021, at the age of 60 years old.

5) Jim Lawson Maduike.

Likewise, actor Jim Lawson Maduike also contributed to the development of the entertainment industry by entertaining his fans in different Nollywood during his lifetime. Jim Lawson Maduike started his acting career in 2004. He starred in movies such as “Tomorrow Must Wait”, “The Master”, “The Trust”, etc. But also died on January 9, 2021.

6) Ernest Asuzu.

Actor Ernest Asuzu is also among the Nigerian celebrities who are no longer alive. Actor Ernest Asuzu worked on over one hundred Nollywood movies during his lifetime. And acted with other Nollywood actors like Zubby Micheal, Jim Iyke, Sylvester Madu.
