Social media commentator VeryDarkMan has reacted strongly after Kingsley Chinda emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Rivers State.
Taking to his social media page, the activist revisited an old allegation from 2024 involving Chinda and former Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike over a disputed land issue in Abuja, which he claimed raised questions about how power and influence are used in governance.

“Rivers State people have entered one chance. This is the same Kingsley Chinda I posted about in 2024 during the issue of land in Abuja, where Wike allegedly allocated land to him,” he said.

According to him, the land in question was originally owned by private individuals before it was allegedly revoked and reassigned, with claims that it is located in a strategic area that could later generate significant financial value.
He further alleged that the political structure in Rivers State is being manipulated for control and influence, suggesting that decisions around leadership and governance are influenced behind the scenes.

“Wike revoked the land from the rightful owners who had original documents, then allocated it to Kingsley Chinda, possibly so it could be sold later for millions because of its strategic location. So this is how things are being done now, packaging the same person to take over Rivers State,” he added.
The outspoken critic also alleged that Wike frustrated the current governor, Siminalayi Fubara, because he refused to work under his control, which led to political tensions in the state.

He further criticized President Bola Tinubu, blaming him for the current political situation in the country, saying governance has worsened under his leadership.
