A touching video which surfaced online shows an ailing gospel singer, Omije Ojumi seeking prayer at a church before her passing.

Recall that the Nigerian gospel musician, Bunmi Adeoye Akinnanu, widely known by her stage name Omije Oju Mi, passed away on Tuesday, 2025.

According to available information, the gospel singer died on Tuesday after a prolonged illness linked to a leg ailment.

Her death came months after she publicly appealed for prayers and divine healing over the condition.

In 2025, the trending video of Akinnanu from a church service at G. F. David Ministries in Ibadan, Oyo State, circulated widely on social media.

In the footage, the singer was seen seated with her leg stretched out while prayers were offered on her behalf. During the service, a cleric revealed that she had been experiencing persistent bleeding from the affected leg, prompting intense intercessory prayers from the congregation.
