The artist, who last year serenaded his mother with a special performance for her birthday, disclosed on X (formerly Twitter) that he recently received a generous gift of $20,000 from Grammy-winning star Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid.

Odumodublvck explained that the Ojuelegba hitmaker handed him the money without requesting a verse or any musical contribution in return. Filled with excitement, he admitted that he never imagined Wizkid would bring him so much joy.
When a fan speculated that he might have recorded a verse for Wizkid before receiving the gift, the rapper jokingly dismissed it with, “verse kor, verse ni.” Overwhelmed, he repeatedly expressed his excitement online with multiple “arghhh” reactions.

After his post gained wide attention, another fan teased him about sharing part of the dollars he received. Odumodublvck quickly clarified that Wizkid was the one spreading generosity, not him.

Their strong bond has been evident for some time. Earlier this year, Odumodublvck recounted how Wizkid supported him during a difficult period when he was bedridden, a gesture that significantly boosted his confidence and career.
