Poverty abounds everywhere – Filmmaker Imoh Umoren tells Twitter user who claimed being born in Africa is a disadvantage

Filmmaker Imoh Umoren has countered a claim put forward by a Twitter user on being African.

The Twitter user had claimed in his tweet that being born in Africa is a disadvantage. He went on to list various challenges one has to overcome to “equalize”.

Reacting to this, Umoren stated that the claim is not entirely true as life happens no matter the country one lives in. He also urged everyone to travel far and wide and not just to fancy places, because poverty abounds everywhere.
