A Nigerian POS operator was left shocked and heartbroken when her N75,000 cash mysteriously turned into paper.
She says she received money from a customer who asked for a transfer to a particular account, and she counted it.

But the money purportedly turned into torn newspaper after the consumer left.

“Help us, this number came to withdraw from this woman and after the transfer. After some minutes, the money had changed to paper,” a voice in the background says.

Nigerians are furious and perplexed about the incident, and many are calling on the authorities to provide an explanation.
While some have theorised that the POS operator was the victim of fraud, others think there may have been an element of the supernatural to the matter.
