A day earlier, Phyna had publicly called out billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote and his company, alleging that the truck, which crashed into her sister, was tampered with by police on the company’s orders to remove its plate number. She warned that while Dangote might have wealth, “he isn’t God,” vowing to pursue justice.
In its statement, Dangote Group expressed “unwavering commitment” to the victim’s well-being, promising full medical care and appropriate compensation. The company also extended wishes for her sister’s quick recovery.

Phyna, however, criticised the tone of the message, calling it ironic given the severity of the injuries sustained. She highlighted that her sister’s leg had already been amputated and questioned the urgency of the company’s actions.

“Appropriate compensation? Quick recovery from an already amputated leg? What necessary speed are you taking right now? Let’s not forget the bike man, who is also in critical condition,” she wrote.
