Paul Okoye reacts as court remands Jude Okoye in custody

Afro-pop singer, Paul Okoye, widely known as Rudeboy, speaks following court ruling amid ongoing trial of his brother, Jude Okoye.

Earlier, it was reported that Jude Okoye was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged money laundering of ₦1.38 billion.

Meanwhile, in a recent development, Jude Okoye was arraigned in court and ordered to be remanded in the Ikoyi Correctional Facility, until his bail hearing on March 3, 2025, with his trial set to commence on April 14, 2025.

Speaking to the media after the ruling, Rudeboy stated that his twin brother, Peter (also known as Mr P), was behind Jude’s trial, seeking to secure his release from detention.

Peter is the one that has put our brother, Jude, here and I’ve come to bring him out”, He stated.

Additionally, Rudeboy claimed to be neutral regarding the petition, stating that he and his twin brother, Peter, are equally guilty of the offense for which their brother Jude is being petitioned.
