Pastor Jerry Eze gets emotional as he honors woman who sponsored his education

Founder of Streams of Joy International, Jerry Eze, became emotional as he publicly appreciated the woman who sponsored his education from secondary school through university.

While sharing his story during a church gathering, the pastor recalled that his mother once told him in JS3 that she could not afford the fees required for senior secondary school.

According to him, he had already started considering learning a trade like tailoring because he believed that was the only option available.

However, things took a different turn when a woman from his local church approached him after a service and revealed that she and her husband felt led by God to sponsor his education.

Couple pays his fees

Pastor Jerry said the couple not only paid his school fees from SS1 until he graduated from university, but also took him into their home and treated him like their own child.

He described the woman as someone who “saw tomorrow,” noting that their kindness changed the course of his life and gave him exposure and opportunities he might never have had.

According to him, the couple did not know him personally and were not from his village or state, yet they chose to invest in his future simply after meeting him in church.

Expressing deep gratitude, the pastor said his life is a testament to grace and urged people not to look down on others, adding that no one truly knows where greatness will come from.

He prayed that God would continue to bless the couple for their generosity and for the role they played in shaping his journey.
