Olodo Uprising: Portable Blasts YCee over ‘Peller Culture’ remarks

Controversial singer Portable has joined the growing debate surrounding rapper YCee’s criticism of content creator Peller.

Recall that YCee had set off a chain of reactions after speaking on what he describes as the ‘Olodo Uprising’.

Reacting in a video, Portable accused YCee of unfairly targeting Peller instead of focusing on his own career. He argued that when YCee was enjoying commercial success, he did not blame others for his achievements or setbacks.

According to Portable, YCee’s criticism appears to stem from frustration rather than genuine concern. He questioned why the rapper was focusing on Peller instead of praying for greater success and working on his own craft.

Portable also defended Peller against criticisms about his educational background, arguing that a lack of formal education does not invalidate someone’s success.

He challenged YCee by asking what tangible wealth his education had produced, including how many cars he owns.

The singer further alleged that some celebrities create controversy simply to remain relevant and trend on social media.

He said …

“The time when Ycee was reigning he didn’t blame another man. When life dey sweet you you no blame another man and another man no blame you but now that his life is bitter he’s now blaming Peller. You no fit beg God for grace? Small pikin you dey say because himnno go school na him make am dey do like that. You wey go school wetin you use your money do? How many car you get? Anytime they want to trend they chase clout.”
