Nnamdi Kanu Blasts Judge And FG Lawyers In Court Drama

Tension filled the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday as IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu strongly resisted the delivery of judgment in his terrorism case.

The courtroom descended into chaos after the court rejected several of Kanu’s motions, including his plea to submit a final written address.

During the previous hearing, Justice James Omotosho had waived the need for final written submissions, stating that the court would base its decision solely on the arguments and evidence already presented.

Kanu reacted angrily, claiming that the ruling prevented him from fully presenting his case.

The situation intensified when the judge reminded him of his right to appeal the court’s decision. Kanu erupted, shouting, “You don’t know the law… Don’t touch me… God will punish you now and forever.”

His outburst disrupted proceedings, forcing the court to pause. Efforts by Justice Omotosho and security personnel to calm him failed, and Kanu was eventually removed from the courtroom by security officers to restore order.
