To beat the record for the longest Instagram live video, the 23-year-old woman plans to air continuously for five days (125 hours).

She claims that she will be live streaming herself doing a variety of things, such as playing games, cooking, and more.

On Wednesday, July 5, Big Tresh started this attempt. She is currently live on her Instagram page@ big_treshlyn.

Although her record will be the first in this category, the closest current record is the 624 hours, 37 minutes, and 55 second Guinness World Record for the longest live-stream (video).

From August 16 to September 11, 2022, Zhejiang Luyuan Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. (China) in Jinhua, Zhejiang, China, set this record.

In additional news, the three-day kissing marathon intended to break the Guinness World Record in Ekiti State has been banned by the state government.

The event, which was scheduled to begin on July 7 at a popular amusement park in the state capital, had been promoted by a group going by the name of Sugartee around the state and on social media.

The planned kissing marathon was, however, banned by the state government in a letter from the Ministry of Arts and Culture to the Ekiti State Hoteliers Association dated July 3, 2023. The letter made clear that any venue that hosts the event will face severe penalties.

Adebanji Adelusi, the director of tourism, wrote the letter on behalf of Dele Ogunsemoyin, the permanent secretary of the ministry, and it expressed concern that the upcoming “Kiss-a-thon” event may damage the state’s reputation.
