A fresh audio recording allegedly involving singer Chike and Sandra Edoho, ex-wife of media personality Frank Edoho, has surfaced online, further fueling the ongoing controversy surrounding their alleged relationship.

In the leaked conversation, Chike allegedly expressed fears that the scandal could negatively affect his career, especially because many of the people he works with and receives jobs from are married couples.

He reportedly worried that if the allegations became widespread online, some clients might distance themselves from him due to discomfort from their spouses.
However, Sandra appeared to reassure him during the conversation, arguing that public backlash and social media criticism do not always permanently damage a person’s career.

According to her:
“ I don’t care about what people will say but I know you’re still younger and you still care, and you still want to be perceived in a certain way.

But at the end of the day what is important? Is it the blog post for two weeks, two months? Can we be in the news for six months? There’s definitely going to be a backlash will it affect your music career? No.”

“So one time in my career… when I worked with Toke Makinwa and there were issues that she complained about and it escalated because she came to social media to rant about it. It felt like she spoilt my business at that point.”

“But my highest paying client came out of all that rubbish and he met through that saga.

And his house was two. And I didn’t just do his house. He gave me his friend’s other house. So I got two projects from that craziness.

What am I trying to say yeah, I’m not saying you may not, let’s say if this comes out you may have a backlash but everything will still work in your favour. Your career will not go down.”
