Mother of a 28-year-old Oghenemine killed by police breaks silence, reveals what happened to her 2 sons

The mother of 28-year-old musician Oghenemine Ogidi, popularly known as OG Millan, has alleged that police actions have claimed the lives of two of her sons in separate incidents.

Her accusation comes as controversy continues to surround Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Nuhu Usman, who is currently in detention over the killing of her younger son in Delta State.

The woman’s account gained attention through a video shared online, showing a condolence visit by Harrison Gwamnishu, a former aide to the Delta State Governor, alongside his team.

In the footage, the grieving mother became visibly emotional as she spoke about her losses.

She explained that the recent incident has reopened old wounds, revealing that this is the second time she has lost a child in circumstances linked to police officers.

My two children were killed by the police,” she lamented. “They first took my son in 2022, and now they have taken another one from me again. How do I survive this?”

Meanwhile, police authorities confirmed that the officer involved in the latest incident has been taken into custody.

The shooting reportedly occurred during an operation carried out by officers from the Effurun Area Command.

According to the police, the team acted on intelligence regarding a suspect allegedly carrying a firearm.

However, while the official report claimed that the suspect, identified as Mene Ogidi, was found with a Beretta pistol and ammunition, a video circulating on social media has intensified public concern.
