The week’s broadcast of BBNaija is dedicated to the late Mohbad, a former Marlian Music singer, as a mark of respect from the show’s producers and organisers.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, a popular host, gave a tribute to the late 27-year-old musician during the final remarks of the live eviction show for Week 8 in his honour.

Following the elimination of four housemates, Omashola, Whitemoney, Neoenergy, and Alex, the host paid his respects.
The hall, where fans of the event had come to witness the live show, was filled with LED screens that displayed pictures of Mohbad.

“Tonight’s show is dedicated to the life of Mohbad, rest in peace,” Ebuka stated as he stepped out.
