Events took a dramatic turn when they received word that Marlian artist Zinoleesky had been arrested. Dominica narrated how they rushed to the Marlian house, where NDLEA operatives had barricaded the entrance. Mohbad, she said, found a way into the compound and instructed her to go live on social media to draw attention.

Dominica described a chaotic scene where Mohbad fiercely confronted the NDLEA officers, attempting to prevent them from taking Zinoleesky. Things escalated when Wunmi reportedly attacked an officer.

“Mohbad told us to enter his car and followed the NDLEA bus to the estate gate. They started shooting and rammed his car three times. He jumped out in anger and began exchanging blows. They beat him badly with the butt of their rifles and forced him into their van while he was bleeding,” she claimed.

She alleged that Mohbad was released the same night due to a scheduled show in Dubai, but his health had already deteriorated.
