Nigerian actress and evangelist Tonto Dikeh has shared advice about distancing oneself from people who may hinder personal growth or success.

In a recent statement, the actress urged individuals to be mindful of the people around them, noting that some relationships can hold back a person’s destiny or blessings.

“Sometimes, the people around you can hold back your destiny or blessings. Don’t hesitate to remove them from your life,” she said.

Using a metaphor, Dikeh explained that negative influences should be treated like weeds in a garden.

“If someone is like a weed in your rose garden, don’t try to keep them, cut them off,” she added.
