A Nigerian woman has sparked debate on social media after criticising men who spend huge sums on luxury hotels for romantic encounters but refuse to financially support women in building their careers or learning a skill.

In a viral video circulating online, the woman argued that some men are willing to spend millions of naira on temporary pleasures but hesitate to provide as little as ₦100,000 to help a woman start a business or acquire a skill.
